KAM Long Nose Diff Lock Kit Discovery I / II

The KAM Diff Lock is electrically controlled via a heavy duty solenoid located inside the diff pan. A cable runs from the solenoid to the an illuminated rocker switch in the cab that engages the diff lock. The solenoid itself is a dual coil type, electronically controlled and protected by an integral solid state commander module.

The KAM LSD's are a ecconomic alternative to gain extra traction without the installation of a diff lock.
A rear LSD locker can be upgraded to a diff lock kit in the future. A KAM LSD should only take about 3.5 hrs to install plus the fitment of 2 new carrier bearings and new diff oil. The KAM LSD are a silent operating unit and will not interfere with the constant 4WD system unlike other LSD / Automatic locking systems on the market.
