The HANDLING KIT was especially developed by BILSTEIN for the use on the Defender and it is field tested.

An optimal adjustment of the shock absorption on the vehicle was achieved. The mechanical loadability is increased to prevent break down.

The result is a shock absorber with degressive rebound stage and tight aligned compression stage. This combination changes the ride of the Defender fundamentally. The suspension of the vehicle is much tighter. Uncontrolled vibrations of the body or axles are prevented and the steering precision is increased. The strength of the suspension is much higher at high load, point load, or fast driving in the field.

The Defender can be safe driven up to the limits, i.e. oversteer or understeer.
The HANDLING KIT can be fitted with standard springs or in combination with the SUSPENSION KIT.
In combination with the ROLLBAR KIT the Defender gains a real sporty road handling.
